Artwork Guidelines

Artwork Requirements:

1) For all imprint types, including foil stamping, embossing, or screen printing, we require production-ready, color-separated artwork to size, or a digital file per Menu Masters’ specifications (see below).

2) Artwork size and placement must be specified before we can begin work on your order.

3) If production-ready art is not provided, Menu Masters’ art department can create artwork or typesetting on a billed basis. If billable time and material will be incurred, Menu Masters will call for authorization before proceeding.

4) A faxed proof or PDF will be provided on all orders.  You must review your proof carefully.  The proof must be signed and released by you before order will proceed to final production.

Electronic Artwork Information:

Applications Accepted:  Adobe® Illustrator® CS5, Adobe® Photoshop® CS5, Adobe® InDesign® CS5, Adobe® Acrobat® 9.
MS OFFICE files (i.e.: Word, Excel, Publisher) will not be accepted.

Disk Types Accepted:  CD-R or DVD-R disks.

File Formats Accepted:  Vector EPS or Editable PDF (all linked/imported graphics included, type converted to outlines, paths or curves.) 

If artwork IS supplied in a raster format (such as jpeg, gif, bmap or tiff) for stamping die, there will be an additional charge for artwork conversion. Charge to be determined upon review of artwork submitted.

Resolution Requirements:  At least 300 dpi/ppi or higher at 100% of the final placed size.
